Star Turn has been backed into 2016 Run To The Rose odds of $3 and the talented colt will start the Group 2 event at Rosehill Gardens this afternoon as a clear favourite.

Star Turn was competitive in races like the Group 1 Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) and Group 1 Golden Slipper (1200m) as a two-year-old, but he has gone to another level as a three-year-old.
The Star Witness colt returned to the races with a very impressive victory in the Group 2 San Domenico Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens on August 13 and punters are confident that he can make it two wins on the trot.
Godolphin have four horses in the 2016 Run To The Rose field and it has been the lightly-raced Impending that has been their best-backed runner.
Impending made his racing debut with a most impressive victory at Rosehill Gardens on April 23, but he was beaten as a very short-priced favourite in the Group 3 Ken Russell Memorial Classic at the Gold Coast on May 7.
The other Godolphin horse that is currently available at single-figure Run To The Rose odds is Astern.
Astern won the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens on February 20 before he failed to fire in the Golden Slipper before he returned to winning form in the Kindergarten Stakes (1100m) at Royal Randwick on April 2.
El Divino dead-heated the Kindergarten Stakes with Astern and the pair will do battle again in the Run To The Rose on Saturday.
El Divino – the half-brother of superstar mare Winx – has two wins from as many start, but he has been easy in the Run To The Rose betting market with Ladbrokes and is out to $6.50.
The only other horse available at single-figure Run To The Rose odds with Ladbrokes is Team Snowden-trained Mediterranean.
Mediterranean has recorded just one win from his four race starts to date, but he finished a gallant second behind Thronum in The Rosebud last weekend and has been rock-solid in betting throughout the week.
There has been a sprinkling of for Cellarman ($81 into $51) and Gadfly ($201 into $101), while Good Standing ($13 out to $17), Telperion ($9 out to $15) and Nikitas ($51 out to $61) have all been on the drift.
