SA Derby Day racing kicks off this afternoon at 12:35pm (ACST) and the eight race program continues through until 5:00pm.
There are two Group status events on the card with the two-year-olds facing off in the 2017 SA Sires’ Produce Stakes (Race 2) on the Morphettville Parks Track before the headliner runs as Race 7 with a full 16 starters in the South Australian Derby 2017 field.
The 2017 Adelaide Guineas (Race 6) is the other black-type and there are a host of scratchings from the mile showdown including So You Too leaving a below capacity field of three-year-olds.
