Prairie Fire will back-up in the 2018 Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes next weekend after he recorded an impressive win in the 2018 The Asian Executive Stakes at Flemington this afternoon.
Mark Zahra settled Prairie Fire in the middle of the field in the early stages of the race and responded strongly when asked for an extra effort to quickly put away his rivals.
Trainer Mick Price confirmed that Prairie Fire will back-up in the Ladbrokes Blue Diamond Stakes next weekend and his victory also franked the Ladbrokes Chairman’s Stakes win of Ennis Hill.

The Mighty Jrod led from start to finish to record a tough win in the Japan Racing Association Handicap at Flemington this afternoon.
Chris Caserta timed his ride to perfection on The Mighty Jrod and the Pentire gelding was always in control of the race.
The Mighty Jrod had his rivals chasing at the top of the straight and he kicked clear when asked for an extra effort.

A strong betting move for Spanish Reef proved to be on the money as she made a winning return to the races at Flemington this afternoon.
Spanish Reef showed plenty of potential last preparation and she looks to have returned to the races as a much stronger galloper.
She quickly put away her rivals when she was asked for an extra effort and she will be even better as she gets further into her Autumn campaign.

Kings Will Dream delivered Mark Zahra an early treble with his win in the 2018 Goodwood Racecourse Handicap at Flemington this afternoon.
Zahra gave Kings Will Dream a lovely run in transit and the imported galloper always looked in control of the race.
Kings Will Dream has now recorded three wins from as many starts in Australia and trainer Darren Weir believes that he still has plenty of improvement left in front of him.

Ken’s Dream returned to winning form with a fast-finishing effort in the Royal Ascot Handicap at Flemington this afternoon.
Jockey Ethan Brown gave Ken’s Dream a very patient ride and the talented sprinter showed an excellent turn-of-foot when he was asked for an extra effort.
Trainer Darren Weir revealed after the race that Ken’s Dream will likely head to the 2018 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington next month.

Rimraam looks set for a big preparation after she returned to the races with a classy win in The Vanity at Flemington this afternoon.
There was plenty of money for Rimraam in the lead-up to The Vanity and that proved to be on the mark as she showed an impressive turn-of-foot in the final stages of the race.
Co-trainer David Hayes revealed after the race that The Vinery Stud Stakes and the Australasian Oaks are the major targets for Rimraam this campaign.

Grunt finished over the top of Cliff’s Edge to win the 2018 CS Hayes Stakes at Flemington this afternoon.
Grunt has always promised plenty during his racing career to date and he stamped himself as a serious Group 1 contender with a strong performance in the CS Hayes Stakes.
Trainer Mick Price confirmed that Grunt will press forward to the 2018 Australian Guineas and he believes that the son of O’Reilly will be even better over 1600 metres and further.

Redkirk Warrior maintained his outstanding record down the famous Flemington straight with a devastating win in the 2018 Black Caviar Lightning Stakes.
Redzel looked as though he had the race won when he kicked clear at the 250 metre mark, but Redkirk Warrior came from the tail of the field to score an absolutely unbelievable win.
Redkirk Warrior has now won the Newmarket Handicap, Bobbie Lewis Quality and Black Caviar Lightning Stakes at Flemington first-up and he will now defend his title in the Newmarket Handicap.
