The two classy mares that ran the Futurity Stakes quinella renew their rivalry this weekend at The Valley with Arcadia Queen tipped to turn the tables on Probabeel in the $5 million The All-Star Mile 2021.

The official The All-Star Mile field and barriers are now confirmed with the top elect, the Grant & Alana Williams-trained Arcadia Queen, drawn a treat in barrier five.
The stable took out the $5 million feature last autumn with Regal Power beating home his stablemate Superstorm at Caulfield and now they look a genuine chance at back-to-back wins.
Five-year-old Pierro mare Arcadia Queen received the highest number of public votes to confirm her spot in the 15-starter The All-Star Mile field and will be ridden by last year’s winning hoop William Pike.
Her only other Moonee Valley assignment produced a credible fifth in last October’s Cox Plate, after which she beat home Fifty Stars by nearly two lengths in the Mackinnon.
First-up she was excellent late crossing a half-length off Jamie Richards’ brilliant New Zealander Probabeel in the Group 1 Futurity Stakes (1400m) and she will be fitter for the run second-up getting out over a mile on Saturday.
Arcadia Queen is two-from-two at the 1600m and sits top of the latest All-Star Mile odds at $3.20 and firming through Ladbrokes.com.au to remain undefeated at a mile.
Probabeel meanwhile is out to continue her winning ways from barrier 10 with jockey Damian Lane continuing associations with the fit Savabeel four-year-old.
She has won four of her past five starts including Randwick’s Group 1 Epsom Handicap (1600m) last October, which led into her Cox Plate seventh.
This time in she has won both her Caulfield starts and is at a current quote of $3.90 in All-Star Mile betting to beat Arcadia Queen home for the second time on the trot.
Despite the size and class of the field, just two other runners are under $10 to salute with the resuming Russian Camelot ($8.50) in barrier two and the Kris Lees-trained Mugatoo ($9.50) in eight for jockey Hugh Bowman.
Danny O’Brien’s Camelot four-year-old Russian Camelot has won four of his 10 career starts with his latest victory being in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) last September.
He finished runner-up to Arcadia Queen in the Group 1 Caulfield Stakes (2000m) next start as the beaten odds-on favourite before his nice third from a wide alley in the Ladbrokes Cox Plate.
Tested at the two-miles in the Melbourne Cup after that, he was brave when under four lengths beaten and races for the first time since in the All-Star Mile off a nice lead-up trial at Werribee behind gun three-year-old Cherry Tortoni.
Mugatoo is being kept safe in the markets after his strong spring campaign that included a second in the Group 1 The Metropolitan (2400m) carrying 57kg and his Cox Plate fourth at big odds.
He resumed with a fifth behind Godolphin mare Colette in Randwick’s Group 2 Apollo Stakes (1400m) on February 13, the form of which was franked when she went on to run second to Verry Elleegant in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m).
Drawn the rails and paying $12 to return to winning form is South Australian star Behemoth, while the Cox Plate winner Sir Dragonet is in barrier nine and at $18 to win at the same track as his big spring success.
Chris Waller’s last start Blamey Stakes champion Star Of The Seas ($15) and the spring’s Empire Rose Stakes winner Shout The Bar ($17) shape-up as the other potential value runners in The All-Star Mile markets, available in full here courtesy of Ladbrokes.com.au.
